God
Touching Addicts' Hearts
"For
years I had used Keith Naylor's song Spring Street as short term mission
teams would come to Philadelphia to minister with us on the streets.
Most of the people coming on these mission trips would arrive convinced
they were "bringing Jesus" to Philadelphia. The challenge
that we gave these missionaries was to "find Jesus" on the
streets, in abandoned homes, in crack houses, in His children caught
in the snare of addiction. The lyrics to the song Spring Street are
an awesome portrayal of this call on each of us as we minister in
addiction. God
speaks powerfully and lovingly through the words of Keith Naylor's
music as we play his songs at the beginning of groups in prison and
at our office. In Lancater County Prison whether the group is men
or women we always need to have several rolls of toilet paper available
to wipe the tears that begin to flow as the inmates are touched by
the lyrics." Rev. David Hain author
of The Heart of An Addict.
"Keith's
music is powerful, and his live performances are a profound gift of
himself to the listener. The first time I heard him "give"
was when he was speaking at a youth camp I was leading. His music
and message were so compelling it determined where I would spend the
next two years of my life. That following year I moved to Stone Mountain
to live near Keith and work with him. I wanted to learn about the
blood life that flows through his music and lyrics. For those two
years his music became a source of vision and truth against which
I began to measure my own dreams and expectations for life. I will
be forever grateful to Keith for his formative presence in my own
faith/life journey through his life and powerful music. Thanks Keith!"

"Music
that revealed the heart of a person who sees the pain of others through
his own pain and expresses it in a way that people relate to....yeah,
its usually pretty depressing, but it has melody and lilt to counterbalance
the words, and if you want to know my favorite it will always be "hold
out your hand" when you play it with Matthew Perryman Jones...the
essence of musical collaboration and heart giving hope to the love
we receive from God and give to each other
your music is real and so are you." Nancy
Higgins, counselor
"I consider myself lucky, not only have
I enjoyed Keith's music, in asmall way, I have been privileged to
play a part in some of it as one ofhis musicians- well ok- I meant
drummer! His music has something to say!I hear frequently from people
who have had and continue to have anappreciation for this music and
I too count myself in that number!" David King, Drummer
"Keith
Naylor's music is encouragement for my heart, and a restoring balm
for my soul. His CD, "the dreams of children," tells stories
of love and redemption that are straight from his heart, and what
a heart it is. From personal experience, Keith knows the deep joys,
profound sorrows, daily struggles, and encouraging victories of a
life of faith lived out in the real world. His songs reflect what
he has seen and felt, not only in the lyrics, but in the feel of the
music. Each deserves a careful listening." Carl Bedingfield,
Musician
"Keith
Naylor is a prolific songwriter and a favorite of many during the
last decade. Keith has a gift of putting the raw reality of life into
songs that pull on the heart and draw in lovers of music. "The
Dreams of Children" is wonderfully done and Keith remains one
of my favorite artists. BUY IT and LISTEN and be encouraged!"
